Preschool Director

I founded Montana Preschool in 2006 with a deep belief that children are capable, expressive, and deserving of a learning environment that truly listens to them.

My background is uniquely multidisciplinary. I am an Electronic Technician, Technical Writer, Industrial and 3D CAD Designer, and a lifelong technology enthusiast. I am also a singer, and I proudly served in the army, an experience that strengthened my sense of responsibility, discipline, and leadership. Together, these experiences have shaped the way I lead — with structure, creativity, and heart — and have helped me grow into a thoughtful and effective preschool director.

Working closely with Connections for Children and Family Services of Santa Monica has added a meaningful dimension to my work, allowing me to better support families and understand the broader needs of young children in our community. I am deeply grateful for their partnership.

Through the California Director Mentor Program, I was mentored by Pauline McPeake, Oversight Director at The Growing Place Preschool in Santa Monica. Visiting and learning from The Growing Place profoundly influenced my educational philosophy. I became especially inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, and I have thoughtfully integrated its principles into Montana Preschool.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief:
Children tell us everything — we just need to listen.
By honoring their voices, curiosity, and relationships, we create a nurturing environment where children and families can truly thrive.
