The children were reading a book during story time and they saw that the cartoons were very interesting. The childre said that the cartoons looked weird because the shape of their heads were too small or too big. They also pointed out that their features were not in place. So the children decided to draw people as they saw in the book. They did big heads and little heads. They colored their faces with different colors and saw that their art is beautiful and can be fun and does not have to be perfect.
The children had an idea to go for a pine-cone hunt so we decicded to go for a fun adventure. On our way in search for some pine-cones the children learned the importance in crossing the street. They grabbed their friends hands they looked left, they looked right, and left again to see if any car was passing by.When they saw it was safe to cross the street the children would scream go. It was such a fun experience.
The children had a fun experience making gold slime. They first mixed clear glue with water and then they added golden glitter. In a separate bowl the children mixed warm water with borax. The children then mixed both bowls together creating their golden slime. They could not wait to take their golden slime outside in the sun!
The children were testing different temperature water with baby oil and food coloring. They mixed different colors of food coloring with baby oil. They dropped the food coloring in cold, warm, and hot water. The children concluded that the food coloring and oil will take a longer time to mix and cold water. They also observe that it was easily to mix when the water got hotter. They also made a conclusion that the oil was thicker than water so that why it separates from each other.
The children have notice that it has been very windy lately so we decided to create a kite. The children first painted their kite with bright colors. The children then had a great idea of adding feathers to their kite so that it can look like a bird. The children then decided to add a beak and eyes as well. They cant wait for their kites to dry to add the string and fly them!
