During circle time one of the children shared to the friends about the snail he had seen in the weekend. The children thought of a great idea of making a snail house so that it would attract more snails and make a big snail commun

The Incy Wincy Spider

When the Children arrived to school, they saw saw something really shiny by the swings. Once they got closer they saw saw it was a really big web on the swing and a spider eating his breakfast. So they were inspired to sing the spider a song

-The Incy Wincy spider swinging on our swing, eating his breakfast and his big web, watching our friends getting to school and the incy Wincy Spider kept swinging on the swing

Friends to the Rescue!

During circle time the children are able to share stories with the class.Today our friend shared his story about his 7 mosquito bites.His friends were really concerned about him and they wanted to make him feel better. They thought of a solution; applying medicine on him. So everyone washed their hands and grabbed a cotton ball and applied Neosporin on the cotton ball. Then, they gently applied Neosporin on his 7 mosquito bites. They all made their friend feel better and they all felt like big heroes!

The children worked on the letter C. They looked for images that began with the letter C. They had fun tracing the letter C with sparkly diamonds.

Mosquito Bites!

During circle time the children noticed that a lot of their friends had mosquito bites this morning so we did a mosquito search. The children learned that Alaska and Africa are the places with most mosquito’s. They also learned that they leave saliva on our skin to numb before stinging us. Every children did their own mosquito search and decided to draw their own kind of mosquito.

My Hands

The Children learned that helping hands could make someone feel special. They explain how special their hands were and how we do a lot of things with our hands. Today they decided to trace their hands and color them in. They saw each others hands and and notice that some hands were big and some hands were mall but they all had five fingers and they were are special.

Poisonous Insects

The children have noticed that the rain from Tuesday brought a lot of insects out to the playground. They weren’t able to take pictures of the insects because they would fly really fast or crawl. So they decided to draw insects of their own. They named them poisonous insects.

Salt Painting

The children enjoyed salt painting. They made swirls onto their paper with glue. We set a timer for 5 minutes so that the glue and salt would dry. After drying the children added watercolors. They enjoyed watching the watercolors travel along the salt.

Homemade Icecream

The Children couldn’t stop talking about how much fun it was to make ice cream. They first poured two cups of milk into the bowl and added one spoon of sugar and vanilla extract in a small zip lock bag. The children then put ice cubes in a large zip lock bag and added some salt. They places the small zip lock bag into the large zip lock bag with ice and shake the bag for about 15 minutes. Walla! The yummy ice cream was ready to eat.

Today the children did an activity using wires and scissors. The children had fun exploring with new material. They invented different shapes and gave each shape a name.
